 A follow up to the HD incident. I ended up calling and filing a complaint with the better business bureau, and 1 day later HD was calling. All they did was give me a discount and state that the men no longer worked there, as if they had let them go, but the men had quit before I had called the BBB. They said they were sorry we felt the way we did and either had to accept their offer or get a lawyer. So we will not ever buy anything from HD that has to be delivered or anything that i can get somewhere else. And by the way the offer was only 250 dollars.  While this might seem petty to some, it is the principle of the matter and how it was handled. I still feel the same way.  Let me know what you think.

AS WITH ALL MY POSTS THESE ARE MY OPINIONS ANY STATMENTS MADE ARE OF MY OPINION YOU MUST RESEARCH ON YOUR OWN 

 I have always tried to be a fair and just man. And like many people in this country, older people who have witnessed a lot of changes through out our lifetime. I recognize that things change over time. The changes that sadden me the most is the lack of morals and charactor in people. What prompted me to begin this journey of standing up, although it might seem small to some. in others, including me, is not. So here is what happened to me with Home Depot. So on November 9th me and my wife went to home depot and purchased a stove and refrigerator. We decided to have it delivered and the earliest date was 2 weeks away. Not great but ok. It was scheduled for a Saturday. So we made arrangements for someone to be over to help move them in the house. So finally the date came and the weather had forecast to have snow. I had expected them to cancel but them did not. The Delivery Company, because home depot no longer has its own trucks, kept sending notices telling us what our place in line was. It had started out as number 8. Now the delivery came from about 65 miles away and through some pretty hilly country. The notice from the company said estimated delivery was by 5pm. Now by 10 am snow had started to fall and accumulated about 2 to 4 inches. No rain beforehand so no ice underneath and my driveway is a good hard gravel drive and only a 4 degree slope up from the highway for about 60 feet then slopes the same down to the house. Now I also have to tell you there are cattle on the land but behind fences. and through the seasons we have always had trucks in and out through all conditions big trucks truck with trailers trucks with equipment, in other words not a difficult drive to get in and out of. So this company at about 2 pm calls and says we are 5 minutes away. great, so 30 minutes later they are on the highway out front, which is a 2 lane busy highway now with snow, and stop and call and say we cant get up your drive, its too steep, and they want us to bring our pickup out to the highway and back up behind them so they can unload in the street. we told them there is no reason they can't get up our driveway, and no we will not come and block a major road for them to unload. My wife who was on the phone with them heard the drivers helper say f***ing americans and then they hung up. Immediately she got a call from the supervisor who told her that the driver said our driveway was 190 degrees steep and we would have to reschedule. They left. they offered monday am but we both had to work. so they sent an email saying we would have to reschedule, then they sent another one saying they would call. so we waited till monday to call and complain about what the driver and his helper did, and to get it rescheduled. The store called and told them to reschedule and they sent a schedule time of 1am to 1pm. So we showed that to the store. The store called them again and they sent another one for 2 weeks later 8 to 5. We finally got them. I had to take off work to get the delivery. We complained about this because that is why we picked a weekend so we would not have to take off work and be able to get help to move them in the house. We are only able to talk to the sales person because the manager refuses to call us back. So now I plan to turn them into the BBB. It is a shame that home depot disrespects their customers that much and that the store managers won't help to contact corporate office. It is also a shame corporate does nothing I have learned. It is a sad thing that home depot who the people of this county made sucessful have resorted to handing out delivery contracts to anti-american companies. My advice is do not buy anything from home depot that has to be delivered or anything at all if it can be helped. Shame on home depot and shame on the companies allowed here that profit from americans and make a living off americans but obviously hate us. I will post a link to a video showing the driveway. The good people of this country need to start standing up to all of these things in this country that are wrong. We need to get more community involved and change this nations course before it is too late. God bless everyone and God bless this great nation in its time of need. A Rural American.
